| Arogya Bhagya Yojane gives quality life for Lakshmi |
| The girl Laxmi, aged 22 years was the only girl child of the family. She discontinued her schooling after 9th class. She had squint since birth and had faced lot of ridicule from friends and others. The parents wanted her to get married and were looking for bridegroom. About 5 people had come but none could stand the squint of the girl. She and her family had to face lot of agony. On hearing about the provision of squint being corrected surgically, at free of cost under Arogya Bhagya Yojane, she along with the parents approached an Institute on 23rd August and the surgery was performed on 30th August 2008. The surgery was uneventful and her two eyes are now orthophoric (normal). She visited the Institute last week with the good news that she got engaged and all her bad days had gone. She thanked God for sending the gift of Arogya Bhagya Yojane. |
